The Flash Method works by stimulating the brain into taking quick pictures and centering the word it is working on. As it makes these pictures the neurons make a deeper impression in the brain so that later the brain can easily recall the information. Doing the practice two times per day deepens these impressions even more so that they become second nature and your student starts building a better reading and spelling foundation. 

 

Each week a group of words will be introduced and a video will be shown to help practice the words and write them. 

 

A new set of goals will be made weekly and as the student practices the mind will store the words into longer term memory.

 

Through practicing the weekly words students will go from  reading and spelling easy words into being able to tackle harder words. Two times per day for just a few minutes is all that is needed.

 

The amount of words per minute read will go up for students withing two weeks. Then students will read more fluenty and with more confidence, also students will spell words more accurately, their comprehension will increase, and grades in school will increase as well!
